Partnership
UCP has been working with the Ministry of Health (Provincial Health Office, District Health Office and health facilities to ensure coordinated delivery of health services. In addition, UCP is working with the National AIDS Council by participating in Technical Working Groups and community leaders in the selection of Community Based Volunteers. Under the CIDRZ HIV index testing intervention, UCP has been working with the Zambia Health Education Communication Trust (ZHECT). Other potential partners for UCP include the Catholic Relief Services, FHI360 and SAFE who would want to partner with UCP in providing HIV Testing Services in the 2018/2019 calendar year. UCP will increase engagement in and ownership of interventions by working within existing national structures and implement sustainable community based and owned peer-based approaches to reach the targeted populations.
